As we enter the new year we'll be taking a small break at The Straw Yard. We'll be busy behind the scenes with programming, maintenance, and general regrouping, but we'll be bringing you lots of exciting events, workshops, shows, and activites throughout the year...don't miss out!
Welcome to The Straw Yard, a new cultural and creative space in the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. The Straw Yard is a registered C.I.C.​ and is managed by Tortive Theatre. The site serves as the company's rehearsal and development space. In addition to Tortive's work The Straw Yard is hosting a number of creative and cultural events throughout the year from partner organisations, hirers, artists, community groups and performers.
