ARTISTS OF BERWICK
We’re excited to launch a new peer-to-peer training programme for artists in Berwick-upon-Tweed.
This initiative will be shaped by the creative community itself, ensuring it reflects your needs, skills, and ambitions. Whether you want to share your expertise, learn new skills, or connect with fellow artists, your input will help us design a programme that is practical, collaborative, and rooted in Berwick’s vibrant cultural scene.
This project has been made possible with funding from the Berwick Creative and Culture Zone (CCZ) and the North East Combined Authority.
STAGE ONE: CONSULTATION WITH ARTISTS
STAGE TWO: CURATION AND PROGRAMMING OF TRAINING SESSIONS
STAGE THREE: DELIVERY
The project will take place over two years and there will opportunities to reevaluate needs and objectives in between years one and two.
We now need your help to make it happen. Below you will find a consultation questionnaire that will form the basis of the programme we put together.
It would be incredibly helpful if you could answer all the questions on the form. The form will be live until 30th September 2025.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Training events/workshops will be free to attend for artists and creatives in Berwick.
Tickets to events/workshops will be made available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
All training/workshop providers will be paid for their services and will receive administrative support appropriate to their work.
All events will take place at The Straw Yard, Parade, Berwick-upon-Tweed, TD15 1DF.
