Join us for an informal series of talks with artists at The Straw Yard in a cabaret-style setting.
Time & Location
25 Jun 2026, 19:00 – 21:00
The Straw Yard, The Straw Yard, The Barracks, Parade, Berwick-upon-Tweed TD15 1DF, UK
About the event
BAR AND GATES OPEN: 6:30PM
EVENT STARTS: 7:00PM
EVENT FINISHES: 9:00PM
Speakeasy is programmed by Berwick creatives Samantha Cary, Anna Chapman Parker and Chris Adriaanse, who are inviting artists with practices that resonate with them to share insights about their career, art and creative practice, followed by a Q&A with the audience.

We are delighted to be hosting Luke McTaggart at The Straw Yard for the first event in the series.
Each event will finish with contributions from the audience, where Berwick-based artists are encouraged to share a recent piece of work accompanied by a few words about it.
All welcome.
Luke and other visiting artists will also be offering studio visits ahead of the events. Join the Speakeasy Roster to be considered.
